Elaine and Jose at the Red Rum have begun their 26th year of serving fine food and refreshments to holidaymakers and locals.
 
The family, together with son Juan Carlos and a dedicated multi-national staff, have worked hard to keep their bar popular and busy in a very competitive environment and  enter every holiday season with loads of vigour and enthusiasm.
 
Over the years the bar has built up a tremendous "community" of friends and visitors from among the locals, expats and holidaymakers of every nationality.  To add even more there's the attraction of Perrico their dog who literally catches fish in the sea.

Elaine is a staunch Millers fan and very proud of her Rotherham roots. She and her immediate family - husband Jose and son Juan Carlos - are frequent visitors to her mum and dad's house in Thrybergh.

The bar has recently achieved recognition in Elaine’s home town having been featured in the local newspaper The Rotherham Advertiser.  This follows an earlier feature by Yorkshire Television....!!
