Even the little dog, Perrico, is eccentric...... Yes he does catch fish and he eats them!!! If you’re visiting the Alcudia or Pollensa area drop in at the Red Rum and chances are that you’ll see him... .....and Elaine.

There are numerous villages North of Alcudia Town along the Bay of Pollenca - including Mal Pas, Bonaire, Manresa and Barcares. An area of stunning scenery and, of course, the home of the Red Rum.
The bar and restaurant attracts visitors from the two hotels nearby - the More Vermell and the Panoramic - and is also a popular stopping off place for the many walkers and cyclists in the area. Other customers include local (and not so local) residents of many nationalities.
Everyone is enthralled by the views across the bay and some customers regularly travel across the bay from the Pollensa and Formentor areas by boat and berth their transport at the Red Rum.

Customers can enjoy a refreshing cool drink or a freshly prepared meal at the Red Rum while watching the colourful fish in the crystal clear sea. Perrico amuses everyone with his antics - it’s not every day that you can see a dog catching fish...
Across the bay are the popular tourist areas of Pollensa and Formentor framed in the mountain range beyond. Be sure to check out the photographs of the area through the site. Feel free to copy any of the photographs that catch your attention or ask to be sent a better copy by email, and perhaps sendl copies to your friends. Enjoy your visit - welcome to the “Red Rum community”..
